Dinosaur King

Wanderwood Forest is a location in Asia in the DS game first visited in Chapter 2.

Description[]

Map - Wanderwood Forest

Wanderwood Forest Map

Accessed through southeast East Gobi Plain in the southwest; it contains Zander's boss battles in the center south. Oddly, the entire east half of the map appears empty. There is a constant overworld flowing mist cloud with no in-battle effects, though it's assumed by the characters to represent the cause of the sleeping sickness.

Story[]

Chapter 2

Entering to end the sleeping sickness in Gobi Village, the player's partner is caught by Zander's sleeping gas before the pleyer faces Zander (1) to retrieve the upper center Stone Fragment, ending the sleeping sickness as the gas dissipates.

Chapter 3

Chapter 4

Postgame

The player can return to face Zander (3) to retrieve the upper center Stone Fragment and Zoe's favorite Wristband, unlocking a Mystery Fossil Alpha Gorgosaurus.

The player can return later to face Zander (4) repeatedly, and also face a static Droid to unlock a Mystery Fossil Super Alpha Acrocanthosaurus.
