The Nodosaurids were a family of armored dinosaurs that lacked tail clubs and typically had horizontal rows of spikes along the sides of their bodies and tails. Later evidence suggests they may include the polacanths, but whether as a subfamily or scattered throughout is unclear. A 2023 study instead divides nodosaurids into an array of three lineages leading to ankylosaurids.
As ankylosaurians, nodosaurids are Earth Dinosaurs, though one is both a Normal Move and Secret Dinosaur.
