Tank defeated many dinosaurs in season 1, but few of these victories were based on real strenght. She was only to defeat some dinosaurs because they had been weakened py previous battles (Chomp, Paris, Ampelosaurus), Utahraptor was defeated before he could fight back and Saurolophus was gentle. Daspletosaurus was distracted from dancing and the second Carcharodontosaurus had no Move Card.
Another example of Tanks weakness is your struggle with the first Anchiceratops. He would have beaten her almost without a Move Card, even thought he wasn´t a strong fighter himself, because a blow from Spiny caused him to collapse from exhaustion.
The first Ankylosaurus did not defeat Tank with Mole Attack. He used the move to throw her on the back and the defeated her with two strokes of his tail, but that was not part of the move. Only Foolscap´s Ankylosaurus actually defeated them directly with Mole Attack.
I just checked the episode in which Chomp defeated Megalosaurus and he did not defeat him with Thunder Bazooka. He used Thunder Bazooka against him and then he he threw the sled to him which send him into a rock which defeate him, but that wasn't part of the move.
You have to go all the way down and hit "See archived talk page". And back in the old days, you would reply to a message by posting on the other user's talk page, so you had to make it clear which conversation you were replying to because nothing actually linked them together, unlike now.
At Terry's page you have written this: "Terry is the only Alpha Gang dinosaur to defeat all three of the D-Team's main dinosaurs without assistance, also the only one of the 3 to defeat one of the Space Pirates' main dinosaurs without assistance (although he was defeated at the same time)." Since it is now clear that Spiny did not defeat Paris, you can leave the first 'without assitance' part away. And you 'main dinosaurs' can be changed in 'altered dinosaurs', because the Space Pirates did not use them the whole series.
"Main dinosaurs" for the Space Pirates is used to mean their "tied-to-the-characters" dinos, including media other than the anime, where they appear far more consistently in association than just the last few episodes, so the term is accurate when accounting for everything.
Also, if Spiny only defeated Paris "with assistance", then Terry should keep "without assistance" to be more accurate and show how unique the feat actually was.
But Spiny did not take part in defeating Paris at all: he only used Shockwave against her and it was Tank who defeated her. You have written that down at his page. It is the same situation with Lanzhousaurus: Ace only used Cyclone to knock him into a wall, but he did not defeat him.
It was a coordinated one-two punch. In basketball, it's called an assist and players still get credit for helping with scoring the points. Would Ace not get credit for helping the wild Carcharodontosaurus beat Terry? Admittedly, the line is a bit subjective and I tend to lean towards the "give them credit" side.
Yeah, it was different, it was a one-two assist like I described, which is separate from both a double-hit defeat (which does get credit) and simply an earlier hit in the battle (which doesn't). So the question is, which of the two should the middle ground assist align with and why or why not? We seem to have chosen opposite sides of the issue, you emphasizing it's not precisely right and me emphasizing it's not precisely wrong.
Yeah, but you have already written down at Spiny's page the following: "Despite their rivalry, Spiny has never defeated Paris, much like Tank never defeated Ace." And at Tanks you have written down: She is the only dinosaur of the Alpha Gang next to Spiny who does not defeat all the main dinosaurs of the D-Team (in her case, she never defeated Ace, while Spiny never defeated Paris)." So, based on these two facts, you could write at Terry's page that he is the only main dinosaur who defeated all of the D-Team's main dinosaurs without the "without assistance" part.
I'm not the one who wrote any of those rivalry notes, I don't even think any exist except Chomp-v-Terry, and that Spiny's rivalry would be with Ace instead of Paris if he had one, but Tank wasn't used enough to have one, so I'm itching to just remove them entirely. But since this is a community project not a personal one, I have to base such decisions on fact not opinion, and they're in the gray "not precisely right or wrong" area.
You are making a good point on the "without assistance" part, though.
It is clear that Maiasaura defeated Terry, but she did not defeat him with Diving Press. She used the move against him, but after that she knocked him into the air, which defeated Terry, but that was not part of the move.
Since it is now clear that Spiny did not defeat Paris, you have to edit at Terry's trivia that he is the only dinosaur of the Alpha that defeated all the D-Team's main dinosaurs and also the only one of the 3 who defeated one of the Space Pirates altered dinosaurs without assistance (although he was defeated at the same time).
Spiny weakened Paris with Shockwave, but Tank defeadeed them. You might think of it is a joint victory, but Spiny never really defeated Paris. In addition, Spiny did not defeat Euoplocephalus with Shockwave, he weakened in and then defeated with a few punches, which was not part of the move.
First you count Spiny and Tank's tag team as a defeat of Paris. As a result, you wrote at Terry's page that he is the only main dinosaur of the Alpha Gang who defeated all the D-team's main dinosaurs without assistance, but you can leave the 'without assitance' part away now.
