• DS Game Encyclopedia entry: Carnivore larger than the Tyrannosaurus. Its head alone is about 180 cm (6 ft) long.
• Despite its arcade/DS comments, it is still widely disputed whether Giganotosaurus was larger than Tyrannosaurus, and thus the largest terrestrial carnivore that’s ever lived. The general consensus now is Tyrannosaurus and Giganotosaurus would’ve roughly been around the same size, with Tyrannosaurus slightly outweighing Giganotosaurus in terms of sheer mass. The real largest meat eating dinosaur was Spinosaurus.
