Heat Eruption anime card

• Effect: A shower of flaming meteors rain down on your opponent! When Mapusaurus used this Move, it caused a real volcano next to the battle to erupt and shoot out the meteors like the arcade version, but when Terry used it, the meteors merely fell from the sky.
• Other: Shear had her Mapusaurus use it against the D-Team in Ancient China, but using it caused the Fire Mountain volcano which the battle was taking place on to erupt, raining the meteors down around Ace and the nearby village, and accidentally spilling enough lava to cut the battle short. After its defeat, the card may have been reclaimed by the D-Team, despite not being seen with Mapusaurus' card. Whether the original or a new copy, Ursula later had Terry use it against Genie, but it was countered by Hydro Cutter. It was Terry's eighth Move Card and only used the one time.

Trivia

• Artwork from one of its various arcade cards is seen on the TCG Move Card Volcanic Eruption (Geki 3rd), and an anime scene of its usage on Fiery Rage (Ep. 60).
• It is the only Fire Move used in the anime which does not include fire coming from the dinosaur's mouth (unless one counts Ultimate Fire, which still features Terry pushing a wall of fire with his mouth).
• It was the only new Fire Move of Mesozoic Meltdown to have its anime card image seen, and the third such Fire Move overall.
• It is one of the few Move Cards of the Space Pirates' that was used by the D-Team/Alpha Gang after reclaiming it from a dinosaur defeat. The other ones were Hurricane Beat (obtained from Shear's Megaraptor), Green Impulse (obtained from Foolscap's Shantungosaurus), Anhanguera Dive (obtained from Foolscap's Pachyrhinosaurus), and Hydro Cutter (obtained from Genie), though it's not clear if Terry's Magma Blaster was from Torvosaurus or elsewhere.
• Tyrannosaurus' position in the image of the Heat Eruption anime card seems to be the same that is used on the Starter Set's Tyrannosaurus TCG card.
• Coincidentally, when Ursula uses the Move, Shear immediately activates Hydro Cutter using the same animation as when she'd activated Heat Eruption herself.
• Although Heat Eruption didn't prove to be particularly effective in combat in the anime, it can still be considered one of the most powerful Moves as it could cause a real volcanic eruption.
