DS Stats[]
- Elemental Attribute: Wind
- Move Slot: Rock
- Learned by: Rock Asia level 45, TBD other
- Color Box: Blue ring
- MP cost: 9
- Power/Ability: x1.8 damage; ?% to avoid taking damage from foe's attacks for the next 3 turns.
- Effect: Upon winning with the default Rock attack, you roar, then fade behind a cloud of dust. If you lose, the foe prepares to attack, but you vanish behind a dust cloud again, avoiding damage.
- Other: Dino Illusion appears to be a stronger version of the similar DS-only Move, Doppelganger, which has a lower MP cost, lower Attack rise, and lower chance to trigger.
Trivia[]
- In the arcade, it appears that no matter what Sign the opponent wins with, they will always hit your dinosaur with Rock's tail swing attack if you are using Dino Illusion, as it's the one that leaves your dinosaur the most in-frame for the Move's effect to be visible.
- In the arcade, if a dinosaur uses one of the three Kakutoroid Move Cards, Soft Beam, Pounding! ACT Darts!, or Alpha Dice against an opposing dinosaur with Dino Illusion activated, the opposing dinosaur takes the hit but Dino Illusion remains activated after that.
