Not to be confused with the arcade story location of the same name.

Alpha Fortress is a location in Africa in the DS game first visited in the Postgame.

Description[]

Map - Alpha Fortress

Alpha Fortress Map

Accessed through northwest Kalimba Desert in the southeast; due to Africa being an optional continent, there is no story-significant boss confrontation, though the objective of the primary side quest is in the southwest.

Story[]

Postgame

Entering to find the Fresh Air, the player must navigate many branching dead ends to the southwest corner, where they must speak to a man about not taking fossils who then leaves, and the player can collect the Fresh Air.
