Hello! I have been slowly translating the four-frame mangas on this wiki (yes, my progress has been insanely slow... sorry for anyone who has been waiting for the rest of the mangas to get translated!).
I will admit, this is my first time ever translating something for other than personal use, so... I know they aren't the best. I am also rather new to this fandom (happen to stumble onto this fandom due to... a little mishap, I suppose), so I've been translating things bit by bit... learning about the characters and dinosaurs as I go. Which is why I've been so slow at it... =w=;
That being said... as my native language is japanese, I could maybe help out if anyone has any translation/cultural reference questions, either from the manga or anime (or the arcade cards, perhaps?).
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask here! I'll do my best to answer them.
If you notice any typos/anything that is unclear/mistakes in my translations, please please let me know! I'll do my best to fix them!
Now the 800th page is now on the DK wiki, would probably the page has 1000 pages (kidding)
How’s it going for y’all
Just wanted to know, how do you know that the Stego species in the show, or the trike are T.horridus and S.stenops specifically. Is there a source stating what they are?
If Sinoceratops and Nasutoceratops were discovered before the end of Dinosaur King and got included in the franchise, what would their rarity be? Gold? Silver? Bronze? Common?
(Armatus87 under an anonymous account) um hello I think community and forum is like a behind the stage of the wiki where the residents chill before they are up on the stage (the pages) does anyone agree with that

Hi guys, Would anyone be able to put a value on the 1st edition japanese arcade set?
I am wondering “who are fans of the show’s favorite character/main dinosaur from the three main groups
Hey, my name is TheGengarKing and I would like to tell you guys that around 2 weeks ago that I made a petition to remake Dinosaur King (Arcade and Anime) and it would be cool if you guys can be able to sign the petition and try to help us in this fight to get Dinosaur King back up and running. Finally, I have made a discord server called Team Void which is for the dinosaur community and we got some of the biggest dinosaur king YouTubers in the discord like The Ultimate Dinosaur King, TheLordOfDinosaurKin, and Minefan48. Thank you for reading this and I hope you consider signing the petition and joining the discord. \ o /
Guys, is there anyone who found the DK soundtrack?
I try so hard, but exept the trasformation themes there is nothing :D
I'd like to see Aublysodon, Argentinosaurus, Dracorex, Chialingosaurus, Bambiraptor, and Compsognathus to name a few.
I've thought about this alot recently. If Dinosaur King was still popular today, it might spawn a mobile game like many other succesful franchises. I'm thinking it might be in the style of DragonVale or Jurassic Park Builder where you collect dinosaurs, keep them in habitats, and battle.
So, basically, it goes like this: Dr. Z has succesfully created his Dinosaur Kingdom, but the Ancients limited its size to just as much as a large zoo, and Dr. Z needs the players' help to maintain it. So you get a starting card (choose from Tyrannosaurus, Spinosaurus, Triceratops, Saichania, Parasaurolophus, Carnotaurus, Brontosaurus and Velociraptor), then it is dropped into a habitat of the same Attribute, which spawns said dino in its chibi form. If you feed it to level 5, it will become a full form. Then when your reach level 10, it evolves into an Alpha form, at level 20, into a Super form, at 30, into a Super Alpha form, and at 40, it will become a Black Form.
To earn more cards, you have to battle (similar to the premise of the anime), with each level being based on a real-world location. And then, you can even breed dinosaurs to create powerful hybrids, like "Trisaura" (Triceratops+Maiasaura, a Lightning/Grass hybrid), which can learn Moves form both Elements (which, by the way, are created in a special building)
All the dinosaurs previously featured (including the Microraptor, Ammonite and Woolly Mammoth) will appear, as well as some new ones. Also take note that Water and Grass Move dinosaurs will be regular dinosaurs with the same Attribute, and Normal Move dinosaurs will be transferred to their normal Attribute.
Fire - Aublysodon, Coelophysis, Pyroraptor, Tyrannotitan, Yutyrannus, Allosaurus (transferred from Wind)
Water - Argentinosaurus, Isanosaurus, Ostafrikasaurus
Lightning - Koreaceratops, Kosmoceratops, Leptoceratops, Medusaceratops, Microceratops, Mojoceratops, Montanoceratops, Nasutoceratops, Protoceratops, Rubeosaurus, Spiclypeus, Spinops, Titanoceratops, Xenoceratops
Earth - Chialingosaurus, Scelidosaurus, Minmi (transferred from Grass),
Grass - None yet
Wind - Bambiraptor, Ceratonykus, Changyuraptor, Chilantaisaurus, Siats, Sinosauropteryx, Gallimimus (transferred from Normal), Velociraptor (transferred from Normal)
Secret - Compsognathus, Psittacosaurus
More coming soon!
Any thoughts, suggestions, or feedback?
I have been collecting cards for well over 5 years and I want to know what is the most rarest card in the arcades?
Thanks ~ Minefan48
I'm one of those people who was never really pleased when the Space Pirates used dinosaurs I had already seen before. Idk why but it just seemed too recycled and odd. After all, weren't Deinonychus and Megalosaurus created by Dr Z? Did the Space Pirates make their own? I don't think so. And as such, I want to know out of the dinos seen in the arcade, which ones should have been in Mesozoic Meltdown?
My own ideas:
Albertosaurus (Gavro): Used instead of Carcharodontosaurus in Ancient China
Indosuchus (Foolscap): Used instead of Megalosaurus in the Ancient Japan
Monolophosaurus (Sheer): Instead of Deinonychus in that Arc
Irritator (Gavro): Instead of Baryonyx
Abelisaurus (Gavro): Instead of Pentaceratops in Ancient Japan (wow a lot of recycled dinos were in that arc :/)
Giganotosaurus (Sheer): Used instead of Mapusaurus in Ancient China
Kentrosaurus (Foolscap): Instead of Ankylosaurus in Ancient Paris
Arrhinoceratops (Gavro): Instead of Anchiceratops in that arc
Allosaurus atrox (Sheer): Instead of Megaraptor in Caribbean
What do you guys think?
